Graduate of Communications in the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas, Venezuela) Her first professional steps are as a model, after wining a contest for a scholarship in Yenny Lazardi’s model academy. She was Miss Zulia at the Miss Diamond Venezuela and was in the catwalk wearing designs from Gilberto Martinez and Alexander Castro.

Angie starts her communications career when she was 16, writing intermittently for the youth magazine La hoja del gato, while she gets her high school diploma in sciences at the Instituto Humanitas. Afterwards, she starts her college studies in the UCAB, complementing her academy studies with courses as the Humoristic workshop with Laureano Marquez and the Contemporary Judaism cathedra with professor Carlos De Armas. She also participates in the production of the student short films La prisionera (The prisoner) and Cochinos números (Dirty numbers)

In April 2002, Angie participates in the contest Who wants to be a millionaire, where she arrives successfully to the twelfth question. After retiring temporarily from the modeling, she gets the position of editor’s assistant at the Antesala magazine, which occupates till February, 2006. After her retire, she writes freelance articles for several Caracas’s magazines as Marcas and Variedades. She also becomes the press manager of Teatro forte, Venezuelan theater company, situated in Barcelona, Spain since January 2008.

Beginning 2006, her work as press manager gets higher when she accepts to represent the lyrical rock band Parkas. In the middle of the year she starts her roles in the theatre production with Teatro forte, in the play The shape of things, by the north american writer Neil Labute.

During the International Theatre Festival (FITC by its spanish stands), Angie roles the production team of the play X departments, co production Germany-Venezuela, which takes the theatre through the streets of the Chacao municipality, in a route through its houses and buildings.

In august 2006, she accepts the production and broadcasting of a radio program in the website www.cabaru.com. This daily entertainment guide is called Siete placeres (Seven pleasures) and aboard subjects as movies, theatre, television, gastronomy, parties, traveling and music.

After the image change of Cabaru, she returns with Top 10, a weekly musical guide where she diffuses the best of the alternative music with Nel, his pop contendant. They both make a review of the main world’s music charts.

In 2007, Angie produces simultaneously the short films Le voyeur and V. In the editorial subject she still writes for Caracas’s magazines, including now a touristic publication named Faces.

This year, Angie starts her group management career with Parkas and Jas trio.

As part of her education, Angie participates in courses into the audiovisual lab of the CNAC (Autonomic center of Cinematography), as Script with Laura Goldberg, Cinematographic design and Cinematographic production, both of them with Hilda De Luca.

In 2008, she introduces Eventos en linea (Online events), a web guide of cultural events in Venezuela. After a few months, she makes an alliance with the journalist Andreina Gutierrez for this project.

Actually, Angie is preproducing a documentary and a group of short films; she also produces events and audiovisual pieces freelance and still works as press manager and magazine’s writer, now with NotiGama.
